How then can I dispute with him? How can I find words to argue with him? Though I were innocent, I could not answer him; I could only plead with my Judge for mercy. – Job 9:14-15
Lord God, I am humbled before Your presence. You alone are holy; You alone are just. When I look to You – at Your holiness – I cannot help but take notice of my sins. Thank You for Your mercy, that despite being in sin, You chose to give me life even though I deserved death. I confess my sins to You, promise to turn away from them and follow You. In Christ’s name I pray, AMEN.
