Then Job replied:“Doubtless you are the people, and wisdom will die with you!But I have a mind as well as you; I am not inferior to you. Who does not know all these things? “I have become a laughingstock to my friends, though I called upon God and he answered— a mere laughingstock, though righteous and blameless! – Job 12:1-4

Lord, I am really sad, grieved and angry about the things happening in my life right now.  I know you are always with me and that you hear my prayers, but I just feel like all these trials are becoming too much for me to bear.  I do not understand why, how even my closest friends are not able to empathize and understand my situation first before they give their counsel and advise. Help me know you are near Lord. Help me to feel your presence right now. I need you Lord. Will you ease my burden, will you take away my pain, because even if my friends do not understand, I know you do. Help me to just be still and trust in you, my God. AMEN.
