And he said to the human race, “The fear of the Lord—that is wisdom, and to shun evil is understanding.”  – Job 28:28

Father, forgive me when I search for wisdom in places where it cannot be found. Whether it’s in people who have high positions that I look up to, or the different media I’m exposed to everyday, I’m sorry for replacing Your wisdom with theirs. I humbly pray that You help me find wisdom in You alone, because You alone are awesome, possess wisdom worth knowing, and are worthy of being feared. I also pray that you give me the strength to shun evil in my life. AMEN.
