The Lord said to Moses, ‘tell the Israelites to bring me an offering. You are to receive the offering for me from each man whose heart prompts him give.’ – Exodus 25:1-2

Dear God, I thank You for all the goodness and the blessings that You have showered me with. I thank You that despite my shortcomings, You continue to love me and to bless me when I don’t deserve them. Father, I apologize for the times that I’ve taken You for granted, for not appreciating what You’ve done, and especially Lord when I withhold my offering from You. I also apologize Lord, for the times that even when I do give, I do so with a heavy heart and sometimes, hesitantly so. Lord, may You just remind me that whatever I have, You provided for, and that whatever I possess is rightfully Yours. Teach me Lord to offer my tithes with a grateful heart and to continue to love and put You above everybody else. I love You Lord. In Christ’s name I pray, AMEN.
